My resolution for 2019 is simple. Continue to be kind, compassionate and understanding when I can. Remember not to meet anger with anger. Think, before responding. And, put family before personal.

As for me, I'm working through my manifesto for 2019. 

Pipe dream: We have a pipe night every few months, but I think I'm going to start a regular pipe club in 2019.

My pipe dream is to find lunting and socializing friends who enjoy pipes and the outdoors. It would be nice to become aquainted with other pipers in Oregon.

@Danfriedman - I'm blessed with about 25 guys in my church who love to get together for pipes/cigars. My idea for a formal club is to find one or two others I can start with. Hope you find the same.

I'm with @Londy3 . I don't dread New Years as much as it reminds me how fast time flies.

My pipe resolution this year is to hold off on buying new briar pipes until I save enough to buy a birth year Dunhill pipe. After that, I want to work towards saving for a Calabash. I also want to continue to develop my pipe blog and add more useful content to it.

My wish is for the continued growth of ThisPipeLife, and continue to develop a brotherly atmosphere in the online pipe community.

My "pipe dreams" are similar to @thebadgerpiper -- I want to hold off on any more estate pipes and buy one really nice Castello or Dunhill. I currently have neither but want to change that this year!

(Oh yeah, and be a better person and all that crap.)

@jfreedy. Liked the "all that crap" and me too! Just want stop my PAD, the TAD is ok to keep.

This year I refuse to disappoint myself with my short comings ... so I'm not making any resolutions I won't be able to keep anyway. At the beginning of the year I resolve to loose weight and by the end of the year I'm five pounds heavier than I was in January.

I am on the lookout for a birth year Dunhill also🙂  The 1927 I have is my fathers birth year.  I also have an Allen & Wright Ltd. with a silver hallmark for 1920, my grandmothers birth year on my mom’s side.

Happy New Year to all of my TPL brothers!  I wish you good health and happiness for 2019.  

I too do not make resolutions.  I can only say 2018 was the source of great stress, worry and sadness for me, particularly during the entire fourth quarter of the year, and yet I start 2019 with a new job and a fair amount of optimism that it will be a better year than 2018.
