One piece churchwarden. Possible?

Hey y’all, i know this May be a sub-section of the “created your own pipe?” thread, but I’m wondering if it’s possible to make your own 1 piece bent churchwarden. I love Gandalf’s from LOTR, and i have yet to own a churchwarden, I’ve been eyeballing some for a couple of years, but it’d be wonderful to have a 1 piece of solid briar just like his, I’m thinking i could wet the stem and gently bend it? Maybe this is impossible. Input welcome

You need a long piece of briar but it is possible in theory

Just watched Hound of the Baskervilles (1959) with Peter Cushing as Holmes and Christopher Lee as Sir Henry Baskerville, In it, Holmes smokes what appears to be a one piece (stem and bowl) churchwarden type pipe, and, later on what might be a full bent Peterson meerschaum. Later yet, a strange looking shorter pipe with a ling curved stem. Holmes also asks Watson to fetch his tin of tobacco. I guess he hadn't traveled with the slipper pouch. Watson smokes a bulldog throughout.

     I have looked at those MacQueen pipes a few times myself.  The ranger is my favorite as well👍🏻

I would like to mention, the MacQueen pipes are not truly one piece, the stems are removable, and have room for a filter.

I didn't want to mention it, but there are no commercially produced one piece churchwardens that I've been able to find.  A couple that are on the web were not briar, and were one off art objects.  But even so, there are many good churchwardens out there.

True. They are not one-piece but on the other hand the stems are made from wood and not vulcanite or acrylic. On top of that, they look like they are one piece. 

I actually have never seen a one piece pipe made of anything other than clay. Even the long meerschaums are two or three pieces or more.

Ease of cleaning one-piece pipes could also be an issue depending on length...

I have seen a few wooden pipes made from one piece of wood.  Most have been "Zulu" pipes from "Congo Wood", pretty cool little pipes.
