If I'm offline for a couple of days it will be Gordon's fault - Hurricane Gordon that is. Though we are hoping this storm is a weak and feeble as.... a tropical storm.
I hate the winter's here in Indiana, but after watching all the news on the California wildfires, earthquakes, and the annual coastline hurricanes in the Florida, Texas, New Orleans, the Carolinas and several inlet southern states, I'll gladly put up with the occasional muggy hot summer days and brutally cold, snowy winters. I guess it's all a matter of where you grew-up and what you consider normal seasonal weather.
All good here. The storm never intensified to hurricane strength and went in closer to the Alabama border then expected. Keep the prayers going for those still in the path of the storm as it moves further north. These storms can generate tornadoes.

Latest track has the eye of the hurricane making landfall about 45 miles east of me. This is one time I don't matter being on the left.
