Two Ben Wades restored

Initially I just bought a Preben Holm Delight at a small antique shop/flea market but then I called them back and bought the bowl to a Ben Wade Royal Grain freehand and a Ben Wade Martinique with an acrylic stem. They are the subject of the new blog post I'm working on but here's a preview photo of the two pipes this afternoon.

@PappyJoe Beautiful... Absolutely BEAUTIFUL! I've always loved Ben Wade pipes. Only have 3, but would always try to find room for more...

@PappyJoe Just read the blogs, and before reading didn't know you were the one who restored them. I thought you bought two beautifully restored Ben Wades. Magnificent job. And the blogs were quite informative, breaking down the process. My restoration projects are usually nothing more that a simple cleaning, sanitizing, and hand waxing. I don't have the tools or talent to tackle a first class restoration, which is usually why the Estate pipes I buy require little or no effort to restore to their former glory.

Those are some beautiful Ben Wades! While Freehands aren't my favorite shape, they're wonderful to look at, and have a character all to their own.
