Found in my cellar

I was digging in my cellar (small footlocker) for something to pair with a new bottle of bourbon I bought. Found 5 unopened tins of McClelland.
Holiday Spirit 2015 50 grams
Black Tie 50 grams
Top Hat 50 grams
Master Penman 50 grams......... and

Unopened 100 gram tin of Frogmorton Cellar.

Now I just need to decide to smoke it or consider it an investment against hard times.

I wish I could find five tins (or more) of Beacon in my cellar......of course I only bought one, so it would be..........magical or a miracle, however you want to look at it

I'd probably continue to cellar them ... and then on a special occasion begin smoking them. 'Hard Times' will probably be the availability of your favorite tobacco. In your case you've got the bases covered.

I checked my deep(long term) Cellar and was surprised to find four 100g tins of McClelland's Christmas  Cheer. I thought I only had 1 or 2 hidden away.

I'd smoke the Holiday Spirit. It is an aro, and won't improve with age - indeed, the toppings might fade.

Congratulations, @PappyJoe!! That’s a find indeed. I agree that the Holiday Spirit probably won’t benefit much with time. However, selling one or two of them might give you some cheer during the holidays. McClelland tins are going for premium dollar on eBay. 

That said, I have about 2 bowls worth of 2107 Holiday Spirit that I’m saving for Christmas. Good stuff. I actually have you to thank for it too. You’d suggested trying some last Christmas.. and I did.

I have over 2 dozen tins of various McClelland blends.have no plans to sell just eventual consumption.from what I can surmise although I could be wrong is that the price driving seems to have slacked off at least somewhat so I might as well enjoy and be glad I was foresighted
