Hartford Reading Society Meeting Tonight

The monthly meeting of the Hartford Reading Society is tonight at 7 pm at the Tobacco Shop, 89 Pratt St, Hartford, CT.  Bring your pipe, some tobacco, spirits and join in the fun and fellowship!  I hear tell there may be some lunting involved for this meeting, so come join us as we terrorize the natives on their home turf and perhaps occupy a bar or two along the way, pipes in hand!

If I wasn't so relaxed...ok, lazy I would've taken pictures of our lunt through Bushnell Park last night, which was wonderful.  We've had nothing but high heat and oppressive humidity for weeks. Last night was warm with a gentle breeze and moderate humidity, so everyone was outdoors.  The shop also had their portable sidewalk deck out with comfy couches and chairs, so everyone was able to enjoy a cigar or pipe in the fresh air.  Anyway, here are a few shots of the guys.  Attendance was lower than usual, but it is vacation season. We average around 15 or so for our monthly meetings.  Join us for our August meeting if you're in the area!
