This has probably been the most recent bearable night out to be smoking my pipe. I did an all Cob Tuesday finally and picked out a few things I don’t have in my regular rotation, like aros, dark fired, VA/Pers. Feels so nice to relax in some decent evening weather.

We've gotten no relief in New England with high heat and humidity for weeks on end.  We usually catch a break in between heat waves, but this is getting stupid.  I'm inside smoking my pipe and it's already 80 degrees at 8 am.

My computer has up-and-quit on me three days in a row here due to the heat. Being as we're on a fixed income, even if I had an air conditioner, I wouldn't dare turn it on and suffer the slings and arrows of Central Maine Power's recently-made-public practice of bilking its customers even worse than we now do.

You guys sure are right about that. The weather has not been conducive to outdoor pipe smoking. As far as summers go ... this year the summer really sucks.

Here in Alabama, it's 94 at 10:00 am. The heat index, feels like 102 already...humidity...97 percent.  Make your pipes gurgle...lol
