Anyone notice that Nicole hasn't been "watching" over us lately?
I've just heard a rumor that Nicole has been moved elsewhere in STG and is no longer involved in This Pipe Life. Looks like we are either getting new "handlers" or STG has given up on the forum because some of you guys can't be controlled.

She's sort of a non-factor anyway and rarely responds to posts or messages. That's been my experience anyway.

We are a salty bunch of pirates and scallywags. But in all my time here there have only been about one or two occasions when things got borderline troublesome. And even then it was tamped down by the participants themselves. We're really not really a group that requires heavy moderating or handlers. The members all quite respectful of one another and helpful to pipe smokers new to the hobby. Should we find ourselves flying solo I see no trouble ensuing. But it's always nice to have someone available to handle any glitches in the system.

@Lomdy3 "Food poisoning!?" Please don't tell me you got it while eating at a County Fair or outdoor festival ... I'm attending the Lake County Fair tomorrow and I've been having reservations about chowing down on 'fair food'.

Confirmation has been received. Nicole has moved into a different position at STG which does not include riding herd on the forum. A new person will be responsible for the forum but I won't name him. Suffice it to say he comes from a tobacco background.
