I thought this was gonna be good and at the beginning it seemed decent. Then I hit the grossness 

The pouch I received from P&C was almost a year old and I don’t know if I just got a bum bag or this is literally the worst tobacco I’ve smoked so far in my short time as a pipe smoker. I wouldn’t gift this to my worst enemy. The pouch I tossed anyway.

Glad they made it right. Sometimes you get a blend flat out you just don’t like. Sometimes I can be a glutton for punishment of trying it in a different pipe, letting it age some, etc. Sometimes my original conclusion of it isn’t for me is correct, other times I change my mind.

@Jayhawk422 it was a weird feeling. I’ve never got a tobacco pouch where even the pouch felt dry on the outside. Have you ever run your fingers across an old vinyl record album cover? It was that gross, dusty feeling.

Took my coupon to get a couple oz of C&D blends with perique. Bayou Morning and Snug Harbor. I saw a review by Amy from Pipes Pitfalls and Pratfalls on the Snug Harbor, so I thought I’d give it a try.

@ocpunk714 thanks....hope it’s not that pouch haha. Sorry for the delay I didn’t get the notification. Hopefully the next order for the blends goes well. Just like anything manufactured mistakes can happen, just sometimes you are that one person who gets the dud!

@ocpunk714, I actually have some MM American Patriot and I like it. You definitely got a bad batch. Glad you called about it and they did you good.

@Londy3 I had heard good things about it so I won’t judge the blend based on this pouch. I’ll get my chance again.
