Your first pipe

Similar to how you learned the art.  What was your first pipe and do you still have and smoke it today?

Mine was a Barling full bent brier with a meershaum lining.  The lining is all but gone now and the stem is discolored.  But, I still smoke it in on occasion and it takes me back everytime.

My first pipe was a rusticated straight apple from a seconds basket in Anchorage Alaska. I bought it nearly 30 years ago.  I still have it and smoke it regularly. It's one of my best smokers.
