@paulwansing, I drilled a small hole and and hung it on a nail.  There are a few others I've seen that have hung tin lids but I never asked how the did it.  without the hole they kept falling off, lol

I hate to resurrect a dead thread, but I never got to show off my pipe storage as during the height of this post I was in the middle of a move. 

I hope you can all forgive me for sharing my modest collection.

These are pipe holders I made with Gorilla Super Glue and stoppers/corks from Quiet Man Irish Whiskey. The smaller size is made from 5 corks and the large size is made from 7 corks. The notch is made with a dremel tool with a sanding disk. I made 10 small stands and 2 large. When I showed my wife she said "You have a serious problem". After giving her comment some though, I realized she is right. I don't have enough corks.

Maybe you can suggest your wife drink more wine.....or tell her that you need to drink more Irish Whisky because you need more pipe rests😬
