"What a country!!!"
If you have Japanese business men willing to give $30,000 for a Bo Nordh, I don't see why they would blink an eye at a $135 purchase. LoL
I just got the 2 I ordered in the mail today, and I thought the presentation box and certificate of authenticity was a nice touch. What really caught my eye, was how they carved the rear of the shank where to stem is inserted, to make it resemble plateau on a briar pipe.
I got pipe #151 and #156. I was hoping for consecutive serial numbers, as it would have increased the value of the pair exponentially, but as they say beggars can't be choosers. You throws your dice, and you takes your chances.
For all the super serious minded folks who take things literally, I didn't actually mean I was throwing dice and gambling, it's just a figure of speech.
@Jayhawk422, Most of the standard size reverse calabash designs being offered today, have a second chamber large enough to help diminish moisture from the smoke stream, but lack enough size to help cool the smoke, like a traditional gourd calabash will. Here is a link to Anthony's site over at ACME Woodturning, where you can learn a little more about the design and what makes it work well. Some of his pipes may not appeal visually to some pipe smokers, but the large chambers really provide a cool dry smoke.
