Just got done watching Life In 12 Bars a new documentary on Eric Clapton on Showtime.Any Clapton fans out their will find this very interesting and very sad at the same time.
I read his only "official" biography about 3 months ago. Until the last 2 1/2 chapters, one of the most depressing and frustrating books I've ever read... Don't be like me and start this book going into winter... It's a double whammy...
I take your point, according to Keith Richards, the secret to his longevity is he obtained the finest and purest drugs available. Once you got the initial buzz, their was no point in continuing to try to get higher then you already were. I think he learned that lesson early on after an OD or two.

Then what do you think about the continued survival of Keith (Uncle Dirtnap) Richards?
What was the subject again?
