When I travel for work I tend to visit the local B&Ms to see what pipe and cigar selections they have. I came upon a tin of Penzance, and was surprised to see it was priced lower than the Dunhill blends. Of course I didn’t think twice and made the purchase, and hope to crack it open on IPSD, as I have not had the opportunity to try Penzance yet ( I usually enjoy English, VaPer and VaBur blends). I hope it is as good as it is cracked up to be.

I was wondering what penzance means. i've only heard the word in association with "The Pirates of Penzance,"
Turns out it's a costal town.

@Jayhawk422 -- it has Latakia in it. Latakia will ghost a pipe, i.e., the pipe will smoke/smell like Latakia.
To most English blend fans, that wouldn't matter. Tp aromatic blend fans, it might.

I'm always on the lookout, for brick and mortars, that made an attempt to be a tobacconist, but fell short. In some cases, they will have older tins at very fair prices, because they have little education in pipes and tobacco and have no idea what they actually have.

This B&M just got in a shipment and I happen to walk in at the right time. He had a couple of 8 ounce bags as well of Penzance and Stonehaven. They had an impressive tin selection as well as pipe selection.

Congratulations on your find, where in the continental USA might this B&M be? (He asked sneakily.) It is a coarse shred, I shred it finer and rub it out.
