Peterson University Flake

At the monthly meeting of my pipe club the Hartford Reading Society last night, one of my brother members produced and unsealed for the first time some of this, which he said was 20 years old.  This is one of the few times I can say the tin note, the room note (because others were smoking it too) and the flavor all came together and evoked the same characteristics.  Sweet notes of sugar, caramel, honey and an undercurrent of floral flavor, not overwhelmingly floral, but floral nonetheless.  Very tasty.  Every tried it?

Hmm, no I haven't tried it, but this makes it tempting. I have tried a few Peterson blends and found that the aroma and taste did not seem to have anything to do with what the name implied it would smell and taste like.
