A big gift from another TPL member.

Just received a great gift in the mail from one of the members. I won't mention his name yet because I want to make sure it's okay.
He sent me a copy of The Perfect Smoke by Fred J. Hanna, a beautiful Horsehead pipe holder and a CAO Meerschaum that has never been smoked. The pipe is pristine and still had the original price tag of $39.90 affixed to the stem.

I've been amazed at the generosity of the members here. You never know what unexpected package might arrive in the mail from one of the members. I've been in a lot of on-line groups in my time from music to horror groups, and now pipe smoking ... and until coming here I never received a single gift from anyone. And some of the gifts have been quite expensive.

I have my favorite cob loaded with Dunhill 965, a fine cup of coffee, a Jules Verne story to read, and this forum full of top quality folk. My afternoon could not be better.
