Are For Sale Posts Allowed?

I don't remember seeing any recently; is it against the rules to post for sale threads or direct others to ebay listings?

When one of us finds a sale, it's nice to be able to alert others, no?

@randelli I haven't been here long enough to know all the rules but I believe selling any of the following is frowned upon by Nichole and Company: Opioids, human body parts, used false teeth, bogus Chicago Bears and Cleveland Browns Superbowl tickets, mail order brides, Omaha Steak Holiday Meat Packages with an expiration date of December 1968, elephant tusks, prison moonshine made from Anti-freeze, pet rocks smuggled in from Asia, Blockbuster Video Gift Cards, "I'm With Stupid" T-Shirts, wild mushrooms, and pipes made of balsa wood.

Well, not much to go on, but thanks for the responses. I put some pipes for sale on ebay but don't know if I can post links etc...

I haven't heard a hard and fast rule on this, @randelli.

Go ahead and post them, the worst they can do is tell you not to do it anymore. No harm, no foul.

@randelli If I'm not mistaken I seen a few members post links to their EBAY site when they have something up for sale. And we have members who are pipe makers and post pictures of pipes they intend to have up for sale soon. So I'm sure if there was any objections the moderators would have already  posted something dissuading such actions. And who knows, you might be offering something I want - and a little heads-up for a good deal is always welcome.
