Well it's probably about time to start showing off your Christmas pipes a bond blends. You guys did such a great job during Halloween, I can hardly wait to see your pic arrangements. I don't have one yet, so for now I'll try to get you in the mood. His tobacco blends are a mystery, but perhaps you guys have some ideas of what he may be smoking...

@hawkeyeted Yes I live outside Corpus Christi, Harvey made landfall just north of us.  It has been a crazy year for weather.

But at least the kids finally got to see snow!  The last time it snowed down here was the year before me and my wife got married.  2004

@Woodsman -- I wouldn't hazard a guess. The eldest son's wife is ten years older than he is, and no grandkids are in the offing; the younger son thinks of women as "tension relieving devices."

We had snow and ice in Slidell (about 30 miles northeast of New Orleans) yesterday. Looked at the weather forecast saying the snow would come again until late afternoon so drove the wife to Gulfport, Ms. for a little Christmas shopping. The forecast was wrong. By 1 pm Gulfport started getting snow so we hopped on I-10 heading home and drove through so fairly dense patches of snow. Reminded me of driving in snow when I was stationed in New Jersey in 1981. Anyway, the snow was steady, the slush was building up on the interstate and we saw 3 cars that had slid off the interstate plus a 3 car accident on a high bridge caused by someone driving too fast and not realizing that cars slide when you lock the brakes on ice. 

Made it home safely. Poured a shot of dark rum into my coffee and smoked a bowl of C&D We Three Kings followed by a bowl of Corncob Pipe & a Button Nose in a cob.

Snowing right now in northern NJ.
With this sciatica I am royally screwed: Even with big snow blower there's no way I can clear driveway, walks, etc.
No teenagers in neighborhood; no one has ever rang doorbell and offered to shovel for whatever is the going rate.

@motie2 The thought if shoveling my driveway is sending chills down my spine. And thinking about you trying to do the same while suffering from sciatica is almost as bad. Wish I lived nearby and I'd offer you a hand. Then we could both sit down afterward for a bowl and bitch about our aches and pains while our wives brew up some hot cocoa with mini-marshmallows..

I had a custom made pipe made for me, started talking to the maker last year and it is finally done......Now it is going to be a few months before I can get it because I am broke and can't afford to pay the person who made it for me.  I also had her make a Wolf pipe for me, both are complete, I have seen the pictures, they are one of a kinds but I can't pay for them until after Christmas....really sucks knowing how nice they are and that they are based off a design I worked with the maker to do.  I guess when I get them I will post pictures.  
I wont be back on for a while, a lot going on in my life right now.  SO have a merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and hope to be back after February or March.....I sure miss you all.

@motie2 I'm with @ghostsofpompeii Wish all our TPL friends lived around you.  Then you wouldn't have to worry about your driveway and other physical to-do stuff... We'd all be happy to help around your place while we had a "pipe party"...
