Web vs Apps

Sooooo.... What's the deal with using this website verses using a cool app?  The apps make forums like this so much easier, faster, fun and give you way more options? Why not use TapTalk? 

I just found a cool beard forum and its so much better than using this old website. There are pipe forums already there as well.  Just a thought.

Web based vs app based. Apps are more self contained and live on your mobile device. A well-designed mobile app can perform actions much quicker than a  website. Apps usually store their data locally on mobile devices, in contrast to websites that generally use web servers. They keep you updated automatically without having to send email alerts on active threads (although they can and do). It's just easier to get around, more interactive than a static website like this. Web forums are just old technology or dimensionally flat.

I'm not sure this is relevant to the subject at hand,are you guys aware of the crap the FCC is planning. Basically it is doing away with net neutrality.They are planning to vote on this measure in mid Dec.It has been on the table for awhile and so they thought they would make the announcement over the Thanksgiving holidays when the FCC thought no one was paying attention.I have been signing petitions to the FCC all day long.Of course the IPS are really happy if this goes thru.So if your IPS thinks for instance that TPL is not worthy, they will slow down the net speed to a crawl,and if you want faster speed you have to pay for it. Unbelievable.

Of course it is relevant. I'm just positively thrilled that another hack who had preemptively declared his intent to end net neutrality was chosen by our President* to drag another governmental agency into the swamp and drown it.

Absolutely,I swear bye the time this particular party gets done were not going to have much of a country left. I've resisted getting into politics on this website because it causes a lot of hard feelings and I don't want that.Their have been a few comments I wanted to respond to but I thought just don't do it. Their are many other websites to argue with people,been their and done it before. Finally decided it was a waste of time. It's always good to hear from you.
