Went to a bar and a pipe meeting broke out...
We held the October meeting of the New Orleans Pipe Club last night. We average 8 or 9 members at most meetings so It was a big surprise to have 14 pipesmokers show up. That included 2 new members joining us at Winston's Pub & Patio.
This may be our last meeting at Winston's because Mayan Imports III is supposed to have their new building open on Nov. 1. Right now we plan on the November 9th meeting to be in one of their indoor smoking lounges.

But back to the original poster, it is great to get together with other smokers. Good luck in the club..
The St. Louis Pipe Show is held every February at a Masonic Lodge. Smoking is permitted, and on the second floor there is a lounge with very comfortable furniture and windows with a view. I make it a point to go every year and barter for some pipe(s) that I feel will go well with my collection. The best side-note is sharing company with so many like-minded pipe smokers and enjoying the comradery...
There is a St. Louis Pipe Club, but I live ENE of St. Louis across the river and the distance to the meetings is a deterrent to attend. Wish it was closer...
