Ranking: points system

I'm a little confused on what exactly generates points toward your Pipeline ranking. Replying to a post someone else started = ?? points. Starting a new post = ?? points. Is this clearly listed somewhere already?

<<This Pipe Life offers different rankings! Everyone starts off as a member and the more you post and comment the more you move up in ranks.

The ranks are as follows:

Newcomer -- 5 discussions & 10 comments  

Apprentice -- 15 discussions & 40 comments  

Enthusiast -- 40 discussions & 75 comments  

Professor -- 100 discussions & 150 comments  

Connoisseur -- 200 discussions & 300 comments  

Master -- 400 discussions & 500 comments

How can I track my discussions? I didn't see it on my home. It shows my points, badges and other stuff...maybe I missed it?

I wonder if they've changed the badge and point system? I finally got my Professor status updated but my original point totals have not returned nor did my badges. Maybe there has been a change in the ranking system that we're not yet aware of and 'it is what it is'.

yes, there is a new system for points and badges. One of the bugs they are working on is restoring what we had for points before the upgrade. Hopefully they will also explain the new system.

Again, they need to post a new Points and Ranking system listing, would be nice to see what is going on BUT I will do my thing as usual when I get back in here on a daily basis, for now I am to busy to check in everyday so until mid to late Fall everyone have fun and see you then.
