C&D Engine 99 Bulk - First Impressions

I tried another blend for the first time this afternoon.

According to C&D's website the Engine 99 is composed of:

"A full bodied blend with enough Latakia to pull ol' #99 up a mountain grade with flavor to spare. Loaded with Latakia, Perique, Virginias, Burleys, and Orientals."

I'm a fan of anything having to do with railroads, so this one was in a recent purchase to try and see if I like.

I smoked it in my new Morgan Arbutus Poker which I received last week.  A poker is a new shape to me and it is also made out of Strawberry Wood/Briar according to the website.

The smoke was very good from the relight through the end of the bowl.  I noticed a lot of different flavors through the bowl adding to the base taste of the Latakia. Its a much more complex blend than I'm used to and I really like it. I'll be adding it to my normal rotation and maybe dedicating this pipe to it for now.
