Packing a Ready Rubbed

I just opened my first tin of Mac Baren Symphony. It's primarily a Burley with a bit of Virginia and Cavendish. My question is about the ready rubbed cut and how to best pack the pipe. It almost looks like a ribbon cut, but the blend has a lot of fairly large flakes that make it difficult to stuff into the bowl. Is there some trick to this?

@Topaz75, I smoked Symphony,I just gravity fed it into the pipe,but not to tight, or you can roll it around in your fingers and break it up a little.

When I encounter a ready rubbed blend, such as Stokkebye's 1855, I'll rub out the tobacco some more and pack it like normal. I also rub out my flake blends, rather than fold and stuff.

I second @badgerpiper on this one. I have found that rubbing the tobacco out completely (I know most ready rubbed blends still have some chunks) helps it to burn more evenly. 

The only time on a true flake or coin tobacco that the fold and stuff method has worked for me was when someone else did it for me; I have never been able to replicate it.

@badgerpiper has it right.  Out of the many ounces of Mac Baren's Old Dark Fired Ready Rubbed I've purchased, I have always found that it still has some of the original flakes intact and in fairly large pieces I might add.  Rubbing them out further fixes the issue.

Same here, rub it out more, rubbing out seems to "Fuzz" up a tobacco more and seems to smoke more evenly.
