Went to my first brick and mortar in many years about a hour away in Gainesville, GA.

Smitty's was recommended by others in the Lanier Pipe Club. 

They have a nice sitting section, cold cokes and beer/wine, a nice selection of tins and house blends.  They are working to increase their inventory of pipes and tobacco.

I really enjoyed the House Smitty 505 and ended up taking some home with me.  

My ONLY complaint.  It's not closer to my house as I'd be there all them time

@rustedrailpipes Living here in Gary, Indiana when I first looked at your topic I thought it read 'Shoot out at the local tobacco store' and not shout out. I guess I'm just programmed to expect the worse.

I wish I had a little shop like that close to home. Well, we actually have two, but the atmosphere kinda sucks ass in both. They look like neon bright vap stores and I'm not going to sit in a place like that. Boo.

@rustedrailpipes have you ever been out to the B&M on epps bridge road in Athens. It is nice got a wonderful selection of bulk tobacco and tins.

@Corey562 Smitty's recently remodelled and changed ownership.  They've added a new beer/wine section and also increased the selection of cigars.  I'm hoping they will be increasing the number of available pipes and tobaccos in the future too.

@rustedrailpipes its been a while since I been to smittys I usually stop by when I head to Helen to get some jumping goat coffee. I will have to make a trip out there to see how it looks.
