There may be a slight degradation, but I do not notice it. And, if there is I would guess it to be because the topping or casing has been absorbed by the tobacco more thoroughly. I have many blends cellared and none have disappointed me so far. But having said that, I am probably done with "gross" cellaring of blends as I can never smoke what I have. I do however continue to buy various blends to try in maybe 3 to 4 ounce quantities which go into smaller mason jars which are readily available. My cellared large jars, are, imagine this, in my cellar.

Make them if you like wooden tampers.......a personal effort each time you use your tampers.I have also made some with brass rifle ammo casings for that brass look. (View Post) -
