I'm not sure where you are in your pipe hobby journey, but next time you are near St. Charles, stop by John Dengler Tobacconist = 700 S. Main St., in Old St. Charles. He has a quaint little B&M there and is very knowledgeable. Also, there is a St. Louis Pipe Club. I have met a few of the guys at the annual St. Louis pipe show held every February. You can receive loads of hands-on learning from them. Because their meeting location is quite a distance from Granite City, I have never made their meetings, but you might want to check them out as well. Hope this helps...

Re: Worst blend
I have some CB Grape I've never tried. Sounds as if I need to try it in an old no-name in case of ghosting... Thanks for the heads up @thebadgerpiper ... (View Post) -
Re: Feeling alone and lost.
@motie2 I almost gave you a "dislike" on you post, but was concerned you would misinterpret it... 😏 (-10 pts. for the preposition) (View Post) -
Re: Pipe refinishing
@RockyMountainBriar Nice! Most people don't know you sometimes have to be half plumber to work on pipes. I guess this makes you a "pipe fitter". :) (View Post) -
Re: Winning An Ardor Venere post...
@RockyMountainBriar Glad the toilet seals are NEW ones... If not, you may be creating some exotic blends that no one will want to try... just sayin'... :) (View Post) -
