A Happy post-St. Patrick’s Day

Hope everyone had a fun St. Patrick’s Day yesterday! I’ve been busy this week, as two weeks ago I was officially voted in as a member of my pipe band! I’ve played multiple gigs and marched in a parade since earning my band kilt.

After a busy day yesterday, I pulled out a number of my Peterson pipes and enjoyed myself in quiet celebration. It’s been a long road to get here, and I’m happy to have made this milestone. I’m also fortunate to have so many wonderful friends on here that mean the world to me. Blessings to all of you.

@mapletop I did wear thermal pants under my kilt (with the legs rolled up), as well as a thermal shirt and genuine Irish wool sweater. I wasn't too cold for the parade (which was around 17 degrees F), except my fingers. I wore fingerless gloves, but the exposed tips went numb by the end of the route.

@vtgrad2003 I've heard of that one. I don't think my band could make that trip, but one day I'd like to make it.
