W.D.C. - William Demuth Company Estate Pipe
In order to support my pipe and tobacco habit, I practice dentistry to pay the bills and keep a roof over our large family. I have a patient who is a professional eBayer, junk shopper, estate purchaser, and all around picker. He's keep his eyes open for a few favorites for me. A few months back, I did a big after hours dental favor for him. To pay me back, he gave me this beautiful WDC pipe (link below). He just had the bowl, so I had my local tobacconist acquire a new stem for me. If I am correct, I've dated it to the 1910's or 1920's.

I love estate pipes and I love thinking who the previous owners of this pipe might have been. It was a great gift from a super nice patient, so I think I'll just appreciate the fact that it's a century old pipe instead of actually smoking it.
