Saturday morning. 61 degrees. Stayed in the 60s all day, today it’s 55. And i could not be happier! Smoking season has arrived. Whenever i step outside, the fresh cool air immediately makes me think of autumn days spent smoking frog Morton.
Does anyone else have this fond memory of autumn smoking? This season and pipes are completely linked in my brain.
I may need to up my stock of shepherds pie from country squire so i don’t blow through my stock.

Love Autumn - hate raking leaves.
Of course when I was a kid I loved raking leaves into a pile and jumping into it. Also didn't mind the scent of burning leaves - provided they were dry leaves and not an old pile left in the yard for a few weeks which had been rained on and formed into an unsightly clump. With most of the leaves on the bottom damp or wet. Nothing smells worse than a burning pile of wet leaves. Well that ... and Latakia.
Just kidding, put away the pitchforks.
