Pouches - How long do they last?

Greetings all. I have some heavy travel days coming up for work and it's way more convenient to carry pouches than mason jars for me. And taking into consideration shipping times/costs, I've been thinking about loading up on some pouches. More specifically, LL Ready Rubbed. How long will the tobacco in pouches last? I'm assuming it should be fairly safe for a decent amount of time, but wanted to get your thoughts on it.

I don't think you'll have a problem at all with LL Ready Rubbed in the pouch. I've smoked pouched tobacco months after opening it with no problems.

I agree with Kmhartle. I like a little variety in my smokes so I have three pouches that I keep on hand. I have had no problem keeping an open pouch for three or four weeks.

My plastic lined denim pouch from the sixties still works fine, but I've taken to carrying tobacco in an empty Erinmore tin.
