I would like to put out there that I am no expert reviewer. These are just my few thoughts on this aromatic. The quite, solitary morning gave my mind time and ability to receive this tasty treat with my cup of coffee. I’ve seen many negative comments towards the taste, but I think it keeps a nice tone with the aromas rather than being overpowered by all the flavors.

I wish that was a Savenelli. Lol. It’s actually an H.I.S. briar made in Italy. Cost me about $40.

The sheen of the briar reminded me of how my unfinished Savinelli looked after a few weeks of use. And I didn't pay big money for it. I think I got it for $50 when a sale came around.

To me, it doesn't matter much what the shank says, as long as it smokes good. I'm sure some people will disagree. But one of my best smoking pipes is a Stanwell I picked up at an antique store for $6.

I agree with your thoughts on this blend. I found it creamy, smokey, with a nice sweetness that didn't overpower the palette. I got through a tin that was recently gifted to me by the owner of my B&M faster than I have any other tobacco in recent memory. Very enjoyable stuff. Happy IPSD!
