Our 42nd Anniversary is next week. We are leaving soon for a 3 Day weekend to celebrate. We had only known each other for 4 months when we got married. I got lucky.
@Woodsman Happy Anniversary. On the 29th of this month I'll have been married 50 years. I've probably been married longer than half the members here have been alive.
Thank you sir......success is not measured in wealth or tangible things, success is very much measured on what relationships have been nurtured in the time we have to walk this earth. Also measured very much by what others who know us treasure our time with them. We all need to live so no one has to lie delivering our eulogy. I feel I am a blessed man.
I have know my wife since we were young kids and come November it will be 20 years, not as long as some on here but I can honestly say it has been the best years of my life.

That seems to be the way of it, Things haven't always gone our way, but we stuck it out and it made us stronger.
