Rather than try to repair the original post I thought I'd just do this again.
Here goes....
Stairway to the Mancave (or Pipe Lounge)
New sign (I think it's appropriate)

Before a poker game a couple of months back
Beginning of the year...
Top left shelf
After the TAPS Pipe Expo in Raleigh
A little mood lighting...
Esoterica stash on the top shelf
Various tins on the 2nd
About a dozen of my frequent smokes on the 3rd shelf
Some of the Big Jars I picked up from a closed C.B. Perkins on the 4th
Some of my favorites on the top shelf
Cigar stuff on the 2nd
A couple dozen mason jars of my long term baccy and several jars of samples on the 3rd
Nicks Pipes on the 4th
A couple of dozen of my stable, almost all of them are estates that I've refurbed.
Here's 11 or so of my Bent Bulldogs (yeah, I know I've got a problem)
I'd be glad to host a group of pipe & cigar smokers. Would just need 2 or 3 weeks notice to get the schedule in order.
On a side note, I found a couple of sources that make reproduction vintage tin signs, subsequently I picked up several and they've arrived this week. Should have em all up this evening and will post em here when I'm done.
Warning! There's gonna be a lot of em.
A new sign for the entry to the cave...
Now the new vintage reproductions....
Great little place to enjoy the simple pleasures.
Just picked himself up a new electric humidor (looks like a wine unit with a glass door).
So, looks like after I get the two leather chairs located, and the associated table for the chess set, I might just be on the hunt for a bargain on an electric humidor.
Thanks for the kudos brutha.
My mancave was built as part of an addition we did to our house back in 2007. We added some 1250 sqft, including a media room, doubled the size of the master suite and built the office above this all in the attic space.
While we were building this I caught an episode of the Man Cave show on DIY. They were building a cigar lounge in the basement of a Chicago home for a guy whose wife wouldn't let him smoke in the house or even the garage. The solution was to install an air scrubber and a high velocity ventilation system.
I started doin my research and settled on the Panasonic high velocity whisper quiet 440 cfm fan. It's mounted out in the attic and is connected to three vents in the ceiling. Most folks that walk into the room for the first time don't realize that there are a total of 6 vents in the room. Three in the ceiling and 3 in the floor. The ones in the floor are the hvac vents. The three in the ceiling are inconspicuous but do a great job of venting the smoke out of the room and to the outdoors.
Hope that explained it well.
@Bonanzadriver Ah, to sleep... perchance to dream...
Great set-up! Hoping to join the man cave elite shortly. If half as nice as yours, I'll be happy...
Holy Moly.......BEAUTIFUL. I am on my way to your house, I just don't know which direction to take yet.
Sadly I'm fighting an upper respiratory thing ( sinus infection trying to get into my chest) and haven't had a pipe in several days.
I still catch myself up in the mancave just hangin out.
