I'll answer the one I don't have to research ... the James Bond movie is "On Her Majesty's Secret Service". The only Bond movie in which George Lazenby played Bond.
  • Options
    1. @ghostsofpompeii is correct. I had it narrowed down to "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" and the original "Casino Royale" with David Niven but couldn't decide on which to guess. I know Sean Connery only smoked cigarettes and Roger Moore smoked cigars. Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig didn't smoke that I can recall.

    2. No clue on present day brand featuring a Judge on the tin.

    3. Kenly Bugg in 1936. Bonus point: Both the Falcon and the Kirsten metal pipes were invented in 1936.

    4. Rhodesians have cylindrical shaped shanks. Bulldogs have diamond shaped shanks.

    5. Vulcanite.

    Quiz two later this week.....
  • Options
I have never smoked the answer to number 2 or any other Blend by that company.
  • Options
The judge is on Orlik Pipe Tobacco Tins.

Also, another name for the black rubber is Ebonite.
  • Options
Found myself trying to remember if a judge was on the tin art for one of the five "Civic Duty" (or something like that) tins.
  • Options
Yep. Haven't smoked that one either.

@RockyMountainBriar Don't know if you're a fan of the old black and white horror/sci-fi TV series from the 60s' "The Outer Limits" - but in the episode "Nightmare" the aliens holding Earthlings hostage were called Ebonites.

    Interesting.
I love old black and white classics, and I love sci-fi, but I have seen very, very, few horror flicks, of any kind.  The outer limits creeps me out, along with horror flicks, and “end of world” films.  I hate mimes and clowns too...creepers.
