Pipe club meeting report
The New Orleans Pipe Club had it's September meeting last night with 18 members attending. We also had a special guest, Mark Ryan, owner of Daughters & Ryan tobacco and the L.A. Poche Perique Facility. Mark is a supporting member of the New Orleans Pipe Club and he stopped with some fresh from the barrel Perique. He also talked about the Perique Cigars which are being made. The cigars contain 18-percent Perique.
Mark also brought us up-to-date on how the Perique farms he deals with are doing this year and the quality of the leaf used in the process. It was very interesting and entertaining.
We gave Mark Ryan his membership certificate last night.
