Free shipping is gone, unless you put in an order for 75.00 or more. Emailed Ben at Tobaccopipes and he answered right away, his explanation was the average order is 2-3 tins and they were taking a loss with free shipping,he stated they held out as long as they could. Perfectly understandable, they are a small business after all. It was nice while it lasted. I will continue to be a customer.

@Bloodhound61,The only reason I found out about it,was the fact I put in an order today and kept searching for the free shipping and their was none to be found. But it's ok S&H is not going to bankrupt me. They had to do what they had to do. Carry on right.

Now I wish I had made my order for my Falcon O rings before the change. Still, I can't blame 'em for the change in policy if it was hurting their bottom line. I'd rather deal with shipping over losing a pipe retailer just for a few bucks.

Just an FYI, I entered 3 tins and a pack of pipe cleaners to my order and the shipping was only $4.99. I think that's more than fair and reasonable based on what other online retailers charge for shipping. I can't blame them and I agree with @thebadgerpiper. Tobaccopipes still has my support and business.

I received an order from them last week and had free shipping but in all fairness, I did exceed the $75 mark.

Again, tobaccopipes.com runs a very fair and honest business. In the past I used to put my order together with both P&C and TP to see who had the best price and delivery before I made a purchase.  Now that the comparison is equal on the min order and shipping charges, I support Ben even more. You can't beat the personal service in a commodity business.

Even though my orders are usually consistent at tobacco pipes. I couldn’t pass up a Seattle Pipe Club sale, also a Louisville Slugger sampler from P&C. Most of the time I search P&C first then see what TP has got. Price is generally less important than what I specifically want. Both have served me well as a consumer.

Plus...some places by me charge up to $30 for a tin of Dunhill. I’ll gladly pay the extra fiver thank you very much!
